Fred Sroka's Bio

Golden Gate University is exceptional because of our alumni.

Fred Sroka has been an adjunct faculty member at Golden Gate University for more than 30 years. GGU is pleased to have him take the helm as Dean of the Bruce F. Braden School of Taxation and the School of Accounting. Fred recently retired from the partnership at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a frequent lecturer on venture capital and private equity. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the State Bar of California.

Fred In One Word: Encouraging

Interests & Hobbies: Volleyball and tennis are his favorites, though he also plays golf (to keep him humble!). He enjoys reading organizational development and strategy books. Fred is in the process of writing a self-help book, which should be ready in another decade or so. He is also working on a wind energy system. So far, the first three prototypes haven't worked... He's due!
