Located in the heart of San Francisco's financial, technology, and legal center, GGU School of Law is an ideal place to embark on a career in intellectual property or privacy law. GGU has one of the most robust IP and Privacy Law programs in the country, featuring faculty who are leading scholars and experienced practitioners teaching courses in patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, privacy, entertainment, cyber law, and other critical areas.
The GGU Intellectual Property and Privacy Law Center hosts an annual conference and other events to connect students to the wide-ranging network of esteemed GGU alumni and to exciting internships and job opportunities. The Center publishes The IP Law Book Review, an online, peer-reviewed and edited journal that includes reviews of current books on IP law and policy written by leading scholars in the field.
GGU offers IP and privacy law specialty tracks both in its daytime JD program and its hybrid on-line and on-campus J.D. Flex program, as well as a graduate LLM degree. GGU alumni practice IP and privacy law at leading companies and law firms, including Apple; Live Nation; Sony; Airbnb; Facebook; Squire Patton Boggs; Polsinelli; O’Melveny & Myers; Morgan, Lewis & Bockius; Owen, Wickersham & Erickson; as well as many others.
