What I received at Golden Gate is a unique set of skills that I can take anywhere in life. The expertise that I received transcends across my many careers in real estate, finance, law, and have taken me from Presiding Judge to District Attorney.
As a 2L, I sat second chair on the successful prosecution of the single highest body count homicide in San Francisco history under the direction of the Chief Deputy District Attorney of San Francisco. You don’t get an experience like that anywhere but GGU Law and Honors Lawyering Program.
I wanted to maximize my time in law school, to explore my interests. Through GGU I had opportunities to do internships in the San Francisco’s District Attorney’s Office, Public Policy Intern for the San Francisco Office of the Mayor, and at a tech company.
I chose GGU Law because of its prime location in San Francisco. What’s not to love about San Francisco? I also love the GGU Law community, and the “family” feel that I get as I walk around campus. It feels like a second home to me!
Taking part in the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic means working on critical environmental issues and also representing disadvantaged communities who would not otherwise have access to justice. It's a unique opportunity to practice both civil rights and environmental law.
