YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAM
LAW CAREER SERVICES FOR VETERANS
GGU's Law Career Services Office (LCS) offers individualized services to help our veteran students achieve their professional goals. Whether students seek opportunities with JAG offices or in the civilian workforce, we help them identify the steps to target employers, pursue opportunities, and prepare themselves to be the most compelling candidates for any position for which they apply. Our lawyer-counselors advise veteran students on how to translate their military experience into compelling CV's and talking points. We also work closely with the school's Externship and Clinic programs, assisting students who wish to use these valuable work experiences to strengthen their professional profiles. LCS staff members collaborate closely with the Veteran Law Students Association to support the career development needs of our veteran students. The LSVC's October 18, 2013 Veterans Law Conference will feature a Mentoring Mixer for law students interested in becoming JAG attorneys and veteran law students who would like help translating their military experience into compelling CV's.
