Your pre-existing condition will not raise the cost of the plan and your coverage does not depend on the severity of the condition. Rest assured that you will be covered for any condition you may have during the entire time you are enrolled in the plan.

Are my dependents covered under the Kaiser Student Health Insurance Plan?
- Dependent coverage is available for an additional fee. Please see the current health insurance brochure for fees and information.
- Dependents can be enrolled on a term basis from the date the student is enrolled in the plan or within 31 days of one of the following qualifying events: marriage, birth, adoption, or arrival in the U.S.
- A newborn will automatically be covered for Injury or Sickness during the month of birth, or the mother's hospitalization if she is a Kaiser member, whichever is later. Will I be covered while I study for the bar?
2013-2014 coverage will continue through July 31, 2014.
After I graduate, is there an option for coverage beyond July 31?
You may continue your coverage with Kaiser Permanente, but the plan will not be associated with Golden Gate University. There are a variety of plans to choose from. We recommend that students first apply for individual and family coverage plans, since these premiums are lower than with that of the continuation plan. However you do have the option to enroll in the continuation plan for up to nine months. You may contact Kaiser at 800-464-4000, or visit their website to learn more.

You can find a doctor by visiting www.kp.org where you can search by name, location or facility.
