Adjunct professor Joseph M. Quinn represents public agencies and private entities in trial and appellate courts across California. Professor Quinn is a partner at Hanson Bridgett, LLP. He is an appellate specialist certified by the State Bar Board of Legal Specialization and he has argued before every district of the California Court of Appeal, the California Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of the United States. Dozens of Professor Quinn's cases have led to published opinions.
Professor Quinn graduated with honors from UCLA where he studied Philosophy and Political Science. He earned a JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. Professor Quinn clerked for the Honorable Eugene F. Lynch, judge of the US District Court for the Northern District of California and has worked as a federal public defender in San Diego and a deputy city attorney in San Francisco.
