Jonathan Chu (JD 01, LLM 05) is both an adjunct professor and Director of Bar Exam Services. Jonathan graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in political science before earning both his JD and LL.M. at GGU. Jonathan worked in the US Congress for the late Representative Tom Lantos (San Mateo/San Francisco) and served in liaison capacity with the US Department of Defense and Department of State. He later served on the White House Advance Team under President Bill Clinton. While in law school at GGU, Jonathan was active in student organizations and clerked for the US Department of Labor (Solicitor's Office) and the US Department of Justice (Criminal Division). Jonathan returned to GGU to earn his LLM in Taxation (with Honors) and then served as the Director of Graduate Law Programs. While in private practice, he practiced in the areas of Corporate, Real Estate, Tax, and Sports and Entertainment Law.
