Brian Orion is an attorney with Environmental Advocates in San Francisco. His practice focuses exclusively on representing non-profit organizations in state and federal environmental litigation. Mr. Orion has served as lead or co-counsel in cases under numerous environmental laws, including the Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Mr. Orion is responsible for all aspects of these cases, including litigation strategy, case management, discovery, expert disclosure, motions practice, and settlement negotiation.

 

Prior to joining Environmental Advocates, Mr. Orion was an Associate in the litigation department of Morrison & Foerster LLP, where his practice focused on complex civil litigation in state and federal court.Mr. Orion earned a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2005, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2002. Mr. Orion has been a member of the California Bar since December 2005.
